WW2 Spitfire ace Rudy Augarten signed photo RARE ITEM WW009 Great black and white 8x10 photograph personally autographed by Israeli ace Rudy Augarten.

Augarten flew as an Israeli fighter pilot during the Arab-Israeli war. Officially credited with four victories over Egyptian planes, together with his two victories over German planes during WWII makes him an ace. It was after the war whilst he was studying at Harvard in the USA when his impressive WWII record came to the attention of the Israelis during the escalating problems in Palestine and he was immediately recruited to fly for Israel. Great photo.
