WA102 Napoleon Bonapart. This 5.5cm figure is of Napoleon who was born in Corsica and was elevated to General in Chief under the revolution and lead a Coup d'Etat against the Director. In 1805 he declared himself Emperor and set out to conquer Europe. Following his escape from Elba his most famous defeat was at Waterloo in 1815. This figure is made of lead free pewter. The box design shows a number of historical artefacts including swords, spears and a number of heraldry designs. Historical information is supplied. £5
