Fred Seiker signed photo WW5022 Nice 8x10 photograph signed by one of the genuine survivors of the Bridge Over the River Kwai, Fred Seiker. Fred was a Dutch marine engineer who volunteered for the Dutch army whilst awaiting the Japanese invasion of Java. Taken POW, Fred was sent on a 'hell ship' to Changi jail in Singapore before arriving at Kanchanaburi to work on the infamous 'Bridge over the River Kwai'. During his time as a prisoner, Fred endured torture, cruelty and almost unimaginable deprivations; he was one of the very lucky few who survived this incredible ordeal.
