Korea Medal reproduction medal
This medal is a reproduction mini Korea Medal. The Korea war began in 1950, when troops from Communist ruled North Korea invaded South Korea. The UN demanded that the Communists withdraw from South Korea. Sixteen UN countries sent troops to help the South Koreans, and 41 countries sent other supplies. The Korean War ended in 1953, when the UN and North Korea signed an armistice agreement.
The medal is 18mm wide and is made from lead-free pewter and silver plated. Overall size of presentation 8cm x 7 1/2cm The card has a full colour painting of attacking infantry being given artillery support during a battle on the front and historical information on the back Cast from an original medal and presented on an information card.
A donation to charity is made by the producer for every medal sold.
