signed Rare First Edition. 'Fly For Your Life'
(Frederick Muller 1956) by Larry Forrester. The classic biography of one of the greatest RAF fighter pilots of WWII. 'Lucky Tuck, or 'The
'immortal Tuck' notched up a score of at least 29 victories in the fighting over Dunquerqe, the Battle of Britain and sweeps over France before
being shot down on January 28th 1942 and taken prisoner. P.O.W. in Stalag Luft III and Belaria at the time of The Great Escape. By one of the
strange recurring coincidences in his extraordinary life on January 28th 1945 - 4 years to the very day of his capture - he escaped with Polish
pilot Zbigniev 'Zbishek' Kustrynski, and reached freedom in Russia. The book is in excellent condition and has a protective cover. The
inscription reads: 'To Paul. R.R. Stanford Tuck.' Good condition Est. £150 - 200

Warrant Officer Bobby Bunting DFC RAAF DFC (US)
ace with 5 confirmed victories. Typed signed note. The photograph copied by
Wt/Off Bunting was taken in France in 1944. Wt/Off Bunting sits on top of his Spitfire with Wt/Off David, also 93 Squadron standing between the
propeller. Wt/Off Bunting wrote war poetry, a one-verse example included with LOT. Good condition Est. £30 - 40

search for aces all 283 of them, far too many deserve that title, and I certainly don't! Included in 'Aces High' (1st Edition 1966), the new edition

Dame Felicity Peake (nee HANBURY) MBE.
Signature on card. WAAF Assistant Section Officer. On August 30th 1940, she showed
"courage" and "devotion when Biggin Hill was attacked and bombed by the Luftwaffe. Posted to London she survived the Blitz and was the first
WAAF to be awarded the MBE. Good condition Est. £10 - 15

Brigadier General Charles E. 'Chuck' Yeager USAAF.
Signature on card. Shot down over France he escaped with the help of the
French Resistance. Became an ace with 5 confirmed victories in one day. Ended the war with 11+ mostly gained in his P51 named 'Glamorous
Glen III' after his wife. Post war test Pilot he broke the Sound Barrier and flew for over 60 years. He was immortalised in the book 'The Right Stuff'
by Tom Wolfe and portrayed by actor Sam Sheperd on screen in the film of the same name. Good condition Est. £20 - 30

Colonel Clarence 'Bud' Anderson Jr USAAF.
Signature on card. Ace with 16 confirmed victories. On February 5, 1944 Bud entered
the deadly world of aerial warfare. Flying for nearly a year against the Luftwaffe in battles sometimes involving hundreds of planes he flew 116
missions in his 'Old Crow' P-51 Mustang without ever being hit by enemy aircraft fire. Test pilot after the war. Commanded a squadron of F-86 jets
in Korea. In 1970, age 48 he flew 25 combat missions in F-105s in the Vietnam War. Good condition Est. £10 - 15

Signature on card. Top scoring US Navy fighter pilot of WWII with 34 confirmed victories. First
carrier based pilot to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour received for two actions. June 14, 1944 flying a Hellcat F6F fighter during
what became known as the 'Marianas Turkey Shoot,' he sot down 7 Japanese aircraft. October 24, 1944 he shot down 9 Japanese aircraft. Good

Martin Becker
flew 83 nightfighting missions, in which he shot down 58 enemy aircraft, mostly four-engine bombers.

achieved 121 aerial victories in 320 combat missions. In addition he claimed 16 victories that remained unconfirmed. but one of his
victories were claimed over the Eastern Front and include at least 27 Il-2 Sturmovik ground-attack aircraft.
Steff Litjens
was credited with 38
victories in 444 missions. He recorded 17 victories over the Eastern front. Of his 21 Western front victories, five were four-engined bombers.
Bruno Stolle
flew 271 combat missions and shot down 35 enemy aircraft on the Western Front including three four-engine bombers and 19
Spitfires. Flew in the Battle of Britain.
Helmut Rüffler
was credited with 88 victories in 690 missions. He claimed a further 10 victories that were
not confirmed. He recorded 76 victories over the Eastern front. Of his 12 victories recorded over the Western front, eight were four-engine
bombers.
Wilhelm Reinert
, KC. OL. with Swords, over 700 missions, 174 victories.
Otto Schultz
Total of 73 victories, 40 of which scored on
the Eastern Front and 8 four engined bombers. Over 800 missions.
Peter Düttmann
was a World War II Luftwaffe flying ace. He achieved 152
kills in 398 sorties. All of his victories were scored against Soviet opposition on the Eastern Front flying the Messerschmitt Bf 109.
